Believe me..., even after 2025, streamyx 1mbps will still exist with the monthly price of RM110/month. I don't see any sign of price reduction for 1 and 2 mbps package for the time being. Their strong point for high price of streamyx combo will be FREE CALL TO TM FIXED LINE NATIONWIDE and FREE TM WIFI yada yada yada! I've been complaining about SUBB around my area to MCMC and even after two weeks, they still don't give any feedback to my complaint.

very true. Just look at those who subscribe 1mb 10 years ago, what are they paying now? still the same

This dial-up method internet connections is extremely 80 century already. If this Jaring have further improve with high speed internet, it won't be bankrupt.

But coz Jaring still hang it there at 80 century with dial-up method, of course it will bankrupt coz no investor wanna to invest this old technology.

You remember your history.
Jaring was put out of business by TM's monopoly of the infrastructure.
How can Jaring dial-up compete with Streamyx?

At one time TM even tried to charge Jaring normal dial-up charges
*
Yeah. TM is alive only because of gov subsidy and monopoly. And since they own most infra, Maxis and Celcom have to use them for their fibre broadband.

Who knows TM will secretly launch Unifi Lite Sabah/Sarawak package once SKR1M cable system is ready (expected in June 2017)? As a lot of customers are using Streamyx 4mbps at RM88 and the fibre networks are to be partly funded by the state government.
*
Bla, not many people can get RM88 for 4mbps. To have TM to launch special Unifi lite for east M'sian is like dreaming in the wonderland.
