QUOTE(prosibu @ Apr 10 2017, 09:30 PM) This is true... Get this info from huawei... Mate 9 series n p10 series sharing same chipset kirin 960 But... But only p10 plus will have 4x4 MIMO for 2600mhz while they disable all for other models So comparing p10 plus and mate 9 series, u will get 50% slower speed for mate 9 series even though same chipset. Currently UM deployiny 4x4 MIMO for 1800mhz and 2600mhz at Johor which max is 400mbps theoretically..... Mate 9 Pro also disabled the 4x4 MIMO for 2600mhz?

QUOTE(jack2001 @ Apr 10 2017, 09:25 PM) This also begs the question, how many poor network performance is related to poor quality antenna / chipsets of the users? Digi surely use high end devices when testing their network... So those complaining Digi slow, you may get the answer here...maybe is really depending on the handset itself. I have experience it myself. My home, Digi is not usable previously and now it works like a charm!!

QUOTE(nas @ Apr 13 2017, 07:15 AM) Are they making the announcement today? I hope Celcom introduce the plan way better than Digi. So that users can port out of Digi to Celcom and freed up the network. This post has been edited by alexleow81: Apr 13 2017, 07:41 AM

QUOTE(westlife @ Apr 14 2017, 10:37 AM) certainly, given the usage for ppl nowadays for unlimited data, even fixed line broadband, telco needs to throttle speed, not to mention about mobile broadband that the bandwidth is even more limited and shared, and very location based that congestion can be caused easily. eventually, unless telco up the price for unlimited data plan or throttle speed for those bandwidth intensive traffic, else this kind of plan is just a short term plan and certainly not long term plan that a telco will offer. currently using rm98 maxisone with unlimited calls, sms, and sufficient total data to be used for a month. i am actually ok with it, eventually fixed line broadband at home will be the most suitable for bandwidth intensive tasks while mobile broadband is still mainly for on the move access therefore coverage, speed, reliability are more keys to it. i am glad that maxis did not come out cheap plan to fight with other telcos actually so that existing customers can actually experience better services they subscribed to by paying a bit more than other telcos. I just be part of MOP 98 as well. Is very true, Maxis line is stable because it does not compete with other telcos. If you are willing to pay for their service, it does not disappoint us by the way. The line is very good and 4G coverage almost part of Klang Valley. I still have Digi as my backup line ) This post has been edited by alexleow81: Apr 14 2017, 10:48 AM

QUOTE(JayceOoi @ Apr 14 2017, 08:59 PM) Not sure yet. Still troubleshooting here. I am using it as USB tethering through router. YouTube on my phone just hang while other devices still can access to Internet. Eg, file downloading still okay. Ping still working fine. No disconnect... Digi CS are lazy! They just don't want to troubleshoot!

QUOTE(JayceOoi @ Apr 17 2017, 11:00 AM) I did. But can't find any solution there. Never stop learning. So I am asking here. Maybe some experts can solve it... I think this is Digi issues. Digi never admit is their problem. They should check on the Youtube portion whether they limit the steaming to only 480p instead of 720p. If yes, they should only limit to Infinite users and not the normal Digi users only.
