Yeah, this is the old one when I sign up. RM300 when you swipe any amount, RM500 if you swipe RM1k within 60days.

Now got new one... RM500 on first swipe.

I got confirmation email from Shopback already. RM100 confirmed.

So in the end, quite a good deal for me...

3699-500(hsbc)-100(shopback)-50(pbb vs)=3049 for S8+.

Anyway, I think for such device, you might as well just forget about the screen protector. TG or film also cannot compare to original. Besides what do you get from it? RM100 better selling price when disposing? Just get a case if you want to avoid damaging the sides during a fall. As for the front, Samsung will repair for free for the 1st time. Claim or expired already then only think about putting TG lor.

Luckily I applied for hsbc card in January. Then swipe 1k to get the lazada voucher.

I don't know about you. What I do feel is that not many people think Samsung phone worthy once you cross RM3K. Most would have no problem paying such amount for iPhone but not Samsung, or should I say, definitely not S series. If Note, then maybe.

I'm referring to Malaysians in general. What koreans has to do with our mentality?

Looks long... if you have a S7e, add 8mm to its height and suddenly it feel alright. I was concerned too but once my cousin showed me his S7e and said only 8mm more, it really didn't feel that much different. Just more screen than anything else.

Honestly for most people, what they do is mostly fb, selfie, messaging, instagram or watch movie. Do they need 3k+ phone to do so? No. Previously cheaper phone lag but not anymore. Even RM600 Chinese phones can be pretty decent. 1.5k would get you similar performance to branded flagship, or midrange performance with better camera.

Not everyone is same. Some would buy expensive phone and use it for a very long time while other prefer changing phone every year like disposable.

I'm still OK with my S6e after 2 years. The only problem is the slowdown when it gets pretty hot while gaming and using with gear vr. I don't see a need to upgrade at all.

My wife had been stuck with iphone 5 since the initial launch. She sees no need for upgrade but it did feel like time is up after recent update. Phone getting really sluggish now. So bought this instead of iphone 7 plus because that thing is huge.

Actually this already happened few years back for me, since Note 2. Nothing new until S6 which really solved android lag problem. Same thing happening again. Probably not until 99% screen to body ratio then maybe interested.
