A lot of reviewers said that despite S8 is so advance & gorgeous, they tend to believe that Samsung is actually saving all the good stuff for the Note 8, such as synaptics technology, double camera sensors, new fast charging technology, etc.

S8 still have fast charging, but some reviewers said Samsung still keep it stick to QC 2.0.

Last week a news release saying that Samsung is developing a brand new fast charging technology named Galaxy S Charge+.

At first, people thought that it will be used in S8. But after the launching, they realized it's not. Now they expecting that the new technology will be used in Note 8.

SME seems love to save the coral blue color for the last. Same thing happened to Note 7. But hey, at least they released Orchid Grey first, which is a nice color as well.

You can only able to touch it in any SME outlets after 5th May.

Today a leaked info indicating that Samsung actually has created a lot of prototypes with different designs for S8. From the leaked photo, we can see that there's a design where S8 was using double camera sensors by ditching the finger print sensor on the back. At the end, Samsung decided to keep the finger print sensor and gave up the double camera sensor design.

It's interesting to know that Samsung did plan to put double camera sensor for S8 in the first place. Not sure why they gave up though.

Even if there's no trade in program, you still can trade in at certain Samsung stores, Sen Heng, Sen Q and even ALL IT Hypermarket. As for which one offer the best trade in value, that would be another story to tell.


Wow. That's too low. I thought that S7 edge should have better trade in value since it's only one year old flagship. I went to Samsung store at Plaza Lowyat last 2 weeks, asking about my Note 5 trade in value. And they offered me RM 1000, which is not bad at all, considering it's a almost 2 years old flagship.


IINM, you also had the same dream last year when Note 7 was released.

It should be another way around lah since 11 street didn't follow Samsung's 10 a.m rule. it should be Samsung was screwed by 11 street.

It's all because 11 streat "accidentaly" opened their pre-order page to the publics. So everyone got excited.

Already closed since 11 street realized their mistake. Now the folks are worrying if their order will be honored or not.
