It was revealed that S8 will stick to QC 2.0, no matter its Snapdragon or Exynos. The charger is also exactly the same as the S7 in terms of specs.

S8 most likely will be at that price point, around 3K. But S8+ sure will exceed 3K.

Of course it is. It's a standard feature for SME set.

Until these days, still don't understand why Samsung insist to not to put the 3rd slot specially for SD card only for their flagships, while this feature is available for their middle end phones....

According to latest rumor from Korea, they said Note 8 will come in Q4, after Samsung releasing their very first foldable smartphone Galaxy X in Q3.

Well, Samsung Taiwan does have a special campaign to offer special treatment for the ex-Note 7 users if they want to pre-order S8. However, the offers are not yet revealed.

Still got hope what? Afterall, until now SME hasn't released any pre-order details yet. May be they are now in the middle of thinking what should they offer to the ex-Note 7 users. Who knows?

Since Samsung is giving discount for S7/S7 Edge until 9th April, probably they will only reveal the price after that. Just some wild guess.

My view is kind of different.

S8+ is understandable since most people will choose bigger size, Samsung sure want to gain the benefit the most from this part, but S8 is slightly expensive. I thought it should be RM2999-3099.

Whatever freebies they gave, nothing can beat out cash price discount. I will skip the pre-order since I don't need those freebies at all. Will wait until Note 8 release at year end and see its price tag then only decide whether should switch to S8 or Note 8. Perhaps by that time S8 price will drop a bit.
