Since both Sinkie & Sabah uses Alphabet S, followed by another 2 alphabet, then digit up to 4.

Although Sinkie already exceeded the standard vehicle number, they added an alphabet behind the digits, and since Sabah don't have so many vehicle, they might still have a long way.

But for older plates, there will be Sikie & Sabah car sharing same number plates, assuming Sinkie kept the old plates.

Well I'm penangite who lives in sabah for more than 3 years, guess I'm eligible to answer.

First of all Sabah is big has few major cities.
Main city will be KK, followed by Sandakan, Tawau, Tambunan, Kudat and so on.

Every city will have its own number plate such as

KK=SA(old plate), SAA, SAB and currently SAC
Kudat=SK, after utilized will moved on to SK XXXX A
Tawau= ST XXXX A and so on.
So far there's no SG..

For more info u can look into wiki

There is similarity between Singapore and Sabah, of course. To differentiate this , cars with S in Singapore will use white on red background. smile.gif
