Used to drive the Bridgestone ER60, grip was fine, aquaplaning not so much of an issue.
Then I switched to XM2, and was rather disappointed. Wheels would lock up quite easily compared to the ER60, but I guess it lasts long...? Not sure if the added risk for accidents is worth the savings though.
Now I'm on Pirelli P7. In terms of grip they are fine, and when pushing them to the limit you can feel them reach it nicely, good feedback (amongst the tyres I've driven so far). They aren't doing so well with aquaplaning though, and once the road is wet I can get wheel spin in 3rd. Not ideal. And even though my set is only 4 years old, the rubber is cracked all over the place. Will have to replace them soon, even though there's still enough profile there. I think the compound already got hard, which is surprising.
For my next ones I'm looking towards the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3, or perhaps Michelin Pilot Sport 4, Continental Sport Contact 6 something along those lines. No Pirelli P Zero for me, as it looks like I'm not the only one who has had Pirellis where the compound got hard rather early. I'm surprised by the Hankook results... that sounds rather good, and the price is significantly lower than the CSC6...
Winter tyres I won't mention here, because not really useful in Malaysia.
