myself using silverstone m3 and m5, its definitely the perfect choice that i ever made. cheap compare other tyre.

the silverstone tyre even good when raining / wet road. the grip really impressive.

To be fair, I have not used silverstone's performance range tyres (if there is any) as I only driven my gf's proton saga with stock silverstone tyres. Compared to my neo's stock CC5, the tyre's grip limit is crazily low (to me) and if you take really sharp corners with speed, the tyres already screaming at you to stop. Not fun. Plus other reviews on silverstone especially the tyre guys makes me want to think properly whether to invest on silverstone.

Actually I don't think silverstone is in my choice, I'm now using PS3, the next tyre change should be the BS RE050 or RE001 or S1Evo

i dont know about the M3 is stock tyre for BLM. im driving Suzuki Liana, blue colour. use this tyre already 2 years, reallx roxx. sry if my statement make u laugh but i dont have any problem that u mentioned as above. i always drive more than 120kmph (not to brag here) and this tyre really make me smile. recommend also to other ppl, seems they also agree with me. furthermore, the price of piece m3 is about RM140. correct me if im wrong here, but im not driving the BLM with stock tyre.

i already used michelin XM1.. the performance is SO SO.
the traction is also SO SO
for me go for Michelin PS3.. good traction.. good gripping even thou u are running at 180 km/h + at lopak air area

silverstone is the cheapest (dont compare to taiwan tyre or Indon) ,even thou the name already well known..
Problem tyre blow (Pecah) is common.. proton car used silverstone.. 

really, lol but i ain't celebrities, so dont chase me ya 

always drive about 160~180 when travel from KL to Melaka, no issue at all. with wet road i can speed about 150 without worry my car will sleep. i love to take cornet at jalan duta (after tol duta got 1 big corner to KL) more than 120kpmh, still no issue. maybe my car is not like proton car, the absorber and aerodynamic body etc etc. thats also need to count.

but try with Waja M5 really tip top. no offense.

The price of M3 is definitely good, no doubt about it. Sometimes I drive my gf's car BLM with (I was made to understand) M3 tyres, I do above 120km/h on a highway. I doubt I will want to do that kind of speed anywhere else.
You did >120km/h on a highway or mountain runs where you do constant hard braking and cornering? That is a good place to test the grip of M3. If it can tame those roads (borrow from Hankook S1Evo), then in my humble opinion, the grip is impressive. I'm not sure if it is my driving skill because M3 started screeching at 40km/h on a very tight turn and I practically struggled with the tyre.

If highway, no point. even stock standard CC5 can take >180km/h. Even that, the grip level is unacceptable to me especially hard cornering, I ditched it after 6 months of constant nightmare struggling at a dirt cheap price aka Alex Ferguson style.

Again, in my most humble opinion, I think it is far from right to say M3's grip is impressive just because it can take you to >120 km/h.

Based on my very limited knowledge on tyres, I have used the Continental Contact Comfort CC5.
To me, the tyre is a good comfort tyre which is silent and grip is although unacceptable to my style of driving, I believe performs satisfactorily on normal point A-B daily driving.

Silverstone M3 is fine if you're just doing normal point A-B daily driving. I'm not sure if it is silent enough for you though.

Any good R14 tires to recommend? Notice many ppl suggest Michellin XM1. Is XM1 quiet? Btw I'm driving a Saga BLM with stock sport rim.
