Any recommendations for alza ? Need quiet and safe wet driving. I read about Toyo ne3. Mixed reviews. Most good review did state that they are made in Japan. But Toyo acquired Silverstone factory recently right? I'm planning to get 195/55/15. Am planning to get xm2 but some forumers did say it is not good in wet driving. Currently using stock Silverstone, actually it's good and durable, just that it is brick bumpy and noisy.

Usually Alza i recommend 195/50/15 unless you're using stock rim. PS3 (Less Quiet compare CC6, Wet traction better than CC6) & CC6 (vice versa) are recommended thumbup.gif

Changing tyre soon, size 215/45/17.

Looking for extremely quiet and comfort tyre is my main priority.

I think should be 195/60/15 for your persona (old model)

Anyway, tire choices are

Michelin XM2 thumbsup.gif
Continental CC6
Bridgestone Ecopia EP200
Goodyear NCT5
Dunlop LM704/J5

Sorry it is 195/60/r15 . My mistake
Hi any idea about PS3 and Bridgestone potenza ?
Xm2 seems to have mixed reviews on its pros and cons.

About cc6, is it prone to punture? Since I heard is a softer compound

PS3 n Potenza don't comes in 60-series rather than 55-series.

Based on reviews I read in Europe, this S1 Evo 2 is pretty good and should be way better than your T1R! T1R is actually considered rather weak for UHP level tires, plus already very old model too. So since you find T1R is already very good for you then I would think the S1 Evo 2 should exceed your expectation already.

This is the latest test result involving the S1 Evo 2 and it came out 2nd overall to the winner CSC6, and beating many other top brands like Dunlop Sportmaxx, Pirelli P Zero, and Goodyear F1A3!

Maybe but maybe not also. Coz in the 2016 Autoexpress review, PS4 did top the chart BUT if you look closely of the comparison chart, it only did so due to much better rolling resistance than the older CSC5 plus a little bit shorter braking on dry & wet but on other performance criteria on average the CSC5 still edges PS4 a bit. I'd say if reading that review, PS4 & CSC5 is still just about equal, can swing either way depending on preference and test condition. So now if compared to the newer CSC6, I'm not too sure, and by right CSC6 would be clearly better than CSC5 should be compared to PS4S which are both playing at the same big sizes only (19' above).

Yea, ive been told by the tyre shop guy on that.
they claimed 55-series will sacrifice comfort.
My question is
ps3/potenza type can last around 50k km?
i think xm2 would but just looking for other options as well
*
The maximum I can let you squeeze for PS3 is 45 - 50K, usually there are around 30 - 40K kms
Potenza RE003 is slightly faster to finish, I would say 20 - 35K kms..

XM2 can past the 50K kms mark, some even until 70K kms.
