I'm just visiting pr1ma exhibition last weekend. Already book the unit. Waiting for call on bank side for loan. But I'm having a concern here where it state that I wajib to stay at the Pr1ma house. Currently I'm still stay with my parents but I'm planning to find a better job in Singapore. So is it ok to buy first the house and leave the house empty for a few years? Mayb I will ask my parent to go check the house once in awhile if I stay at sg.

The problem with Prima housing inhabitants? Majority have THIRD WORLD MENTALITY.

If they saw one unit is unhabited for a year or so, they will ask their relatives to squat the empty unit.

Worst, the squatter refused to move out.

Why dig out old topic. confused.gif
Anyway, I was referring to mentality of future Pr1ma inhabitant. Most but not all have that kind of poor people thinking mentality.

In sarawak here, when the government relocated squatters to new housing area (low cost terraced house), there were many empty housing units nearby.
Each squatter family has their own allocated unit.
Since the neighbouring units were empty, the ex-squatter family asked their relatives to 'live' at the empty units.
"As in breaking the door lock, illegally connecting the electrical wires, gas and water from the ex-squatter unit" dry.gif

Their reasoning, "Eh, tak kisahlah, kalau ada orang (tuan punya rumah) akan datang tinggal, kita akan pindah keluar je lah, tak baik biarkan rumah tu kosong"

=.=......not paying rental, tax, insurance plus damaging the housing unit........you tell me lor....what was my friend supposed to do that time?

Nightmare situation, after asking them to leave for 6 months, they moved away and my friend (ex-coworker now sweat.gif ) had to deal with the damage......

But 'ulu' place is cheap. nod.gif Not much choice for him, our salary is very little even now.

It is not pr1ma housing.
RM90 thousand something. It was a low cost housing scheme by private construction company. Don't know if government has share in it.
Single storey terraced housing.
Pity him, he said he had to fork out RM5000 something to clean up, paint, repair the damage and removign the illegal connections.

So in your book, PR1MA resident = former squatter?
Is it due to low cost? or people with different circumstances in life than you, must be viewed negatively?

This is condescending and you should be ashamed of yourself making statement out of your arse with just assumptions.

Read again my statement above.
Don't twist or add spice to my statement. sleep.gif

It is not about low cost.
I never said pr1ma = former squatter.
It is about certain 'Third World' mentality that some people might bring into a housing area.
Now I don't view people with different circumstances in life negatively, but these people really leave a bad impression.
Seriously though, why would they invite their relatives to live in empty neighbouring units, I will never know........

Not just an assumption.
My own experience with former squatters who relocated to nearby taman............Have you ever see few people open up your dustbin, scatter all the trash in front of your gate to look for aluminium can or something valuable, then leave without cleaning it up? sweat.gif
Try 3 times in a day after you cleaned up the scattered trash.
Don't get me started with other issues I personally encountered with them...... cry.gif
