The other day i bought one really cheap samsung SSD online and once i got it and got SAMSUNG MAGICIAN installed it says my product is not genuine and the speed is 100mbps read/write slower than my genuine version.
What can i do to report this fella for doing unscrupulous business?
returning to L is easy and fast but that only saves me from trouble. not other gullible buyer.

what do you guys think?

edit: I contacted the seller and the seller buat bodoh and ask me to send the ssd back to them. First case of non genuine konon.

Don;t send it back to him yet. Make a formal complain on Lazada.

Report to Lazada also, ask for refunds. Buy SSD at legit online seller, there is quite a number of them on Lazada

Is it retail or oem version? samsung magician don't work on oem.

Pls report. Be responsible. So we can together have safe trade online.

If not because of the stupid shipping charges and having to wait for seller to confirm your purchase first, lelong would be a better choice. Also paying using lelong's payment option you'd be charged additional cost for "insurance" unless the seller has a direct payment method like bank transfer

Lazada don't bother reporting, I've reported countless seller with their fake/imitation product and until today they still selling the same thing on lazada

lipot direct to samseng, they will follow up with domestic trade dept

if u lucky, they might even gip u SSD 4 free as gudwill gesture

Oem is ori from samsung but it is manufacture for ready made pc like dell, hp, etc. It is cheaper to buy this type of ssd. But the performances will be like reduce around 5-15%.

i have bought thousands worth of item on lazada and never have problem with fakes, unless its shipped from oversea, which is known to be fake.
if u dont like the item or suspect to be fake, just return them.
