QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Apr 15 2023, 07:00 AM) this was a usual view for Komuter/MRT Kajang station back then. 730am already full and all have to resolved by parking at roadsite. Luckily during MRT kajang construction, they made a multi storey car park. Yeah LGE suck cz cutting scope for parking at Cyber which make the issue worst. LGE, I hope u resigned from politics Are they building a multi-storey car park at Putrajaya Sentral? |

QUOTE(watabakiu @ Apr 21 2023, 01:05 AM) Cyberjaya City Center from the beginning also no car park was planned. LGE cut the car park at Cyberjaya Utara from multi-storey to just open air. People seems to forget that there are plenty of parking at Putrajaya Sentral but they should really reduce the parking price there to be similar to parking at LRT stations. The current price of RM8 per day is too high and it used to be RM2 if you park from 6 am to midnight. This post has been edited by 30624770: Apr 21 2023, 07:53 AM |

QUOTE(Jingle91 @ Oct 24 2023, 02:59 PM) So how is the cyberjaya nowadays? Long time didn't go back to here. I remember many of my colleagues purposely went to queue up to grab the unit in Shaftesbury. How is there doing now? Much more lively compared to a few years ago but still maintain the peace and quiet at night and weekends. A lot more cars on the roads especially after Telekom Malaysia moved their HQ there. Food wise got more choices nowadays but still can’t be like PJ or Puchong. Chinese food are still not much but improving as you even got bak kut teh. Jingle91 liked this post

QUOTE(redondo88 @ Oct 24 2023, 05:53 PM) In the first place it would like to be industry hub, PM4 invited everybody to come in. So it build houses too, people moving in. But now most MNCs already run away (to KV), become satellite city for people working in KV. But now Tesla coming in & just announced data centre. Seems like PMX want it to stay alive. Maybe CBJ was his idea back in 1997 You forgot Telekom Malaysia moved their head office to CBJ too this year. |

QUOTE(rads78 @ Jun 11 2024, 10:51 AM) With the amount of construction projects happening in Cyber right now, I have a feeling that the road infrastructure will start be become overloaded in the next 5 years. Shouldnt Majlis Penbandaran Sepang starts to upgrade the roads to cater for the population growth for the next 10 years? Theres still only 1 each of Sekolah Rendah and Sekolah Menengah in Cyber but yet people keep coming in There is 2 Sek Rendah if you include the Chinese school but that school also getting a lot of students from Puchong. Some of the roads are beginning to crack and more potholes due to lorries. Previously, you hardly can find any lorries plying Cyberjaya roads. This post has been edited by 30624770: Jun 11 2024, 10:31 AM |

QUOTE(Jingle91 @ Jun 11 2024, 03:39 PM) I know those who bought the very old condo and townhouse next to MMU before 2010 was really making huge profit and printing cash every mth. Last time each unit the rental can be close to 2000, if townhouse, total rental can easily over 3k, more than enough to cover installments. My ex gf was staying there when study in mmu. But after 2010, the whole cyber was full with construction sites, then the price and rental for high rise start koyak Now still oversupply of condo. I not sure how the new condo project call UNO going to sell max_cavalera liked this post

QUOTE(Jingle91 @ Jun 12 2024, 09:38 AM) I remember that colleague did complain about the high management fee incurred, especially when he has been renting out in low price, can't cover for instalment. There are definitely more cars and less Arabs and Blacks in Cyberjaya today. A lot more new offices especially Telekom moving their head office there is the big contributor. That’s why certain parts of Cyberjaya are doing well but there are still a lot of areas that is a bit dark at night due to the lousy street lights. Not as quiet as when I moved in right before the first MCO but still not busy like Bandar Puteri or SS2. The Chinese population has increased but the availability of Chinese food is still low but not totally unavailable. The middle class Malay population has increased significantly and from what I observe, they have buying powers. There are a lot of cafes type restaurants in Cyberjaya today opened by Malays. Even though it’s a Malay majority area, there are no rempit problems yet. The ones closest to rempits are probably food delivery riders. But I got abt 8 years never go back to cyber town centre, not sure how is the situation now. Hopefully with the new MRT, this area can be better. wildan03, JimbeamofNRT, and 1 other liked this post

QUOTE(Jingle91 @ Jun 12 2024, 10:01 AM) Talking abt Blacks....hahahaha. All my bad memories back in 2012 flow out, lol Thanks to MCO, the blacks and Arabs population really reduced and replaced by Malaysians. My ex gf roommate car was crashed by them. Think got one moment almost every week got at least one car accident happened due to they get drunk and drive fast. But curiously no casualty happen. Anyway, glad to see now the area is improving. I am a bit jealous indeed as your area got mrt station nearby. Haha The MRT stations is criticised by most people in Cyberjaya as it’s not really at the place where there are most people. Its in fact quite far from most residential areas but it’s definitely better than nothing. watabakiu liked this post

QUOTE(Jingle91 @ Jun 12 2024, 11:03 AM) Ya, to be honest our MRT really suck but better than none la. So just keep with it lo, as now I can't live without mrt. My only me time is during taking mrt to office. You working cyber or KL? Or WFH? I work 4 days in office, 1 day at home. I take ERL. More expensive than MRT but much faster and my office is near KL Sentral. No problem for me even though expensive as I can claim travel allowance. My wife send me to putrajaya Sentral and pick me up after work. The time spent on ERL is the best. No stress of jam and ERL is very punctual and fast. I everyday reach home before 6.30. max_cavalera and ShakaZulu liked this post

QUOTE(icemanfx @ Jul 22 2024, 10:27 AM) Oversupply in cbj is not a surprise or shock. at one time, there were over 20 towers under construction in cbj, which one could observe and count, and cbj population need to triple to fill them. however, most were blinded by greed, chose to ignore the facts and reality. Nowadays, still got people buy property for investment? The problem is not only CBJ lah. Have you been to Old Klang Road and the ridiculous number of condos there? As I have always say. CBJ is good if you are looking for a place to stay but if you are buying for investments, then its better you look somewhere else. SKY 1809 liked this post

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Jul 22 2024, 11:55 AM) He speaks like Chat GPT , but Malaysia version. I was staying in Old Klang Road and moved to CBJ even though I work in Bangsar. Some people call me crazy but it's worth it as I like the more peaceful environment with plenty of parks. Buying a property does not have to come from Investment ( only ) decision, eg u may want to stay close to yr aging parents, so u can take good care of them. Or u can buy for yr children so that they stay close to u . it has some sentimental or values to u. Certainly , not a First priority ( for investment only ) like our Chat GPT said. I take ERL to work and it's a bit pricey but its relaxing and their timing is super good. It's stress free and if I want cheaper options, I can also take MRT but it will take a longer time. I noticed I managed to reach home earlier nowadays than when I drive and stayed at Old Klang Road. LOL! You're right about choices. Some people like peaceful environment while some just need to be beside a mall or eateries. It all depends on people's preference, as there's no one size fit all when it comes to property. QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Jul 22 2024, 12:15 PM) Well said n Congratulate for taking a bold move . Like our Chat GPT said " One should take time to live" . Actually, if you stay in CBJ, you'll notice that there is significant increase in population in the past few years especially after lockdown was lifted. There are less Arabs and Blacks but there is increase in middle class Malays and I believe Chinese population is increasing too. SRJKC Union classes is quite full. CBJ is not SS2 or Damansara but it's not really dead like some people think.Choose yr own lifestyles to live ......my version |

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Jul 22 2024, 12:32 PM) Schools are the problems...parents from other big cities send their chidren to CJ, and CJ is just a small Data Centre village . Previously, a lot of Puchong folks sent their kids to Union but I was told that from this year onwards, the priority is for those who stay in CBJ only as they anticipate more students from CBJ. |
