i think the reason why ppl say blue-ray can do more is becoz it has a bigger capacity, bigger space is needed to create a very high graphic game, just like u save a picture, a sloppy picture using jpeg size is small, but a very good picture with high resolution have bigger size, same like games, so big capacity can put in great graphic while still have rooms for the game.
And higher production cost too.....and it is not too surprise at all that most of the game developer company r going for multi platform options...And by the way, not everyone can afford to buy the original copies of blueray movies .... the cheapest option that we have now is from amazon.com, and I do have few in my collection now..but, I can tell u it is pain in the ass to spend nearly RM100 for each disk just for something that I am going to watch twice (the most)....
