I wished I saved my copypasta on /v/.
Anyway, I don't see myself getting a PS3 anytime in the near future. Why?

- Very little games that interest me (Resistance and Motorstorm oh wow). No RPGs or action games. Later in the future, MGS4, FFXIII, DMC4... long way to release.
- Pricey
- Don't have a OMG L33t TV to play to it's full potential. Still using a 10-year old 30inch CRT.
- Lol, Blu-Ray. Even pirated Blu-Ray games will be expensive, and Blu-Ray movies have a long way to come.

The most important point to me know is that there are very little games for it to justify my purchase.

I don't like the games lineup for Wii either.

360 is the only appealing choice to me now. Nice library of games too. But I think I'll wait a bit to buy that as well. Horror stories of 3ROD abound... mostly FPS games... Mass Effect will give me a slight push.

Until then, it's back to my PS2 and PC.

Then comes the waiting. Yay.

Also consider that the Wii outsold the PS3 mainly due to it's price. It's around half the price of a PS3, so in all fairness, one should halve the sales of the Wii in order to really compare it to the PS3.

It's like comparing selling Proton Iswara to Mercedes Benz.
Imagine if there were fanboys for Proton and Mercedes.
Proton fanboys would be going "HAHAH LOOK AT THESE SALES FIGUES. PROTON SOLD MORE CARS THAN MERCEDES. ITS OVER. MERCEDES IS FINISHED."

When they let slip through their selective memory is that 10 Iswaras can buy you a Mercedes or something. A rough example, but you get the general idea.

Compare a DVD to a BD. What's the difference? Only space.
DVD movies and BD movies? BD movies higher res, better sound maybe. Utterly useless if you don't have a GOOD, EXPENSIVE TV to go along with it, which many people don't have.

Also, there won't be any 360 HD-DVD games, as the slot is an addon. I'm pretty sure not many will like the idea of spending another 200USD to play more games. Also, developers won't like cutting down their target demographic. Why make a HD-DVD game limited to people who bought the addon when I can just make it on a DL DVD, which everyone with a 360 has?

Simple logic.

RM600 is a lot of money.
You may have rich parents, or maybe you're the CEO of some company, but RM600 is still a lot of money to most people.
