Did you bring your own oil? Some workshop not happy with customer bring own oil and will slaughter with higher workmanship.
Better to ask price first before committing, which most owners dont ask first.

My workshop also that price nowadays but they use suction machine pump, where I bring my own Engine oil and parts. I ok for that price

FYI, most official SC are charging RM80~100/hour (60 minutes) rate just for workmanship.

If only oil change, normally around 15~20 minutes - RM30 still consider acceptable.

For me, I still prefer old school style of - jacking up the car and unscrew drain plug. Guranteed complete drain of all dirty oil compare to suction method.

Go and watch YT videos - Comparing suction vs removing drain plug. Still have about 500ml of old oil left. No thanks. It will circulate together with the new oil.

My regular workshop still charges me RM 20 for an oil change till today, bringing my own parts. Whether or not because I'm his regular customer, its another issue.
Yes I have asked a few random workshops, if I bring my oil and parts - thats RM 30. Usually after hearing that , I will say "No Thanks", get into my car and drive off.
