dear admin/staff,

my email inbox got spammed with forum subscription whether or not i enable or disable the forum subscription in my controls.
below is the screen shot of my email inbox. kindly assist. thank you.

Please check:

• Your Control Panel > View Forums
  Are you subscribed to any forums?
  
• Then go to; Your Control Panel > View Topics
  Are any of the topics you subscribed listed as "Type: Delayed Email Notification"?
  
• And also look at "Email Settings" in your CP:
  Is "Enable Email Notification by Default" checked? This would mean that any topic you start or even reply to will automagically send you email notifications.

If all of the above check out ok and you are sure you shouldn't be getting any email notifications, let us know here.

thanks altie, i was surprised that i was subscribed to forum + topics....i can't remember i ever subscribed to any.
i have done all the steps u adviced. guess the problem has been solved but i'll confirm again at the end of the day thanks again...
