Hi Shifu all, I just got my MiJia Dash Cam.. got a few questions here...
1) Should i use the Mihome app or Mi Dash Cam app?
2) the latest firmware is 1.0.13.EN am i right?
3) am buying Samsung Evo plus 64gb for the dash cam as mention here before. correct type?
4) It's once start the cam the video is automatically store?
5) It's fine if i connect straight to the battery so i can get parking video recording?

Hope shifu here can help me clear out my doubt

The dashcam will be recording non-stop if connected to the battery. It won't be parking mode. laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Also, it won't have any voltage monitoring and your car battery will be suck dry by the dashcam.

No option to do that.

You'll need it if used as evidence for a police report.

Too bad, I'm returning my unit and go back to the Yi dash cam. Sometimes, I want to make movies and use dash cam footage. It looks bad with the logo, date, and time stamped on it.

Don't remember yi dashcam can remove date and time. Logo I know can.

For front only dashcam, minimum I would go is 32GB. 64Gb would be ideal.

Also don't get Sandisk Ultra cards as they will die when used in dashcam or IP cams in less than a year.

Samsung branded only.
Samsung Evo/Evo+ 32GB

Sandisk as claim by few forumer and netizen died after certain amout of usage.

As pointed out by one of the forumer below. These are the latest version Micro SD Card from Samsung.
Samsung Evo Plus - 2018 edition (latest as of today)
Samsung Evo+ - 2017 edition
Samsung Evo - 2016 edition
