1800 numbers is toll free.
1300 numbers is never toll free, long story short, telcos will charge you for a local call made. In old days, they are local and out station calls. If any telcos charge u for 1800 numbers you can report them to CFM. |

QUOTE(HippyTony @ Mar 23 2017, 11:46 AM) 1800 numbers is toll free. Now most telcos have free unlimited local calls, does the 1300 numbers become free (since it was charged for a local call)?1300 numbers is never toll free, long story short, telcos will charge you for a local call made. QUOTE(yongtjunkit @ Mar 23 2017, 08:38 AM) Hi, Hi yongtjunkit & others, I was wondering if dailing 1800/1 300 number free on maxis one plan or is it just the 1st 4 months? For call to special number like e.g. 1-300/1-700/600 & 121, TM100, 1MOCC, 02-prefix numbers for IDD calls to Singapore and 080-prefix numbers for border calls to Brunei will be charge based on pay per use under Maxis One Plan. You may refer to http://www.maxis.com.my/en/tnc/personal-tn...xisone-tnc.html for more info. TQ |
