1800 numbers is toll free.
1300 numbers is never toll free, long story short, telcos will charge you for a local call made. In old days, they are local and out station calls.

If any telcos charge u for 1800 numbers you can report them to CFM.

Now most telcos have free unlimited local calls, does the 1300 numbers become free (since it was charged for a local call)?

I see. Still cannot escape.
Better don't call 1300 numbers. Look for their normal numbers to call.

Hi yongtjunkit & others,

For call to special number like e.g. 1-300/1-700/600 & 121, TM100, 1MOCC, 02-prefix numbers for IDD calls to Singapore and 080-prefix numbers for border calls to Brunei will be charge based on pay per use under Maxis One Plan.

You may refer to http://www.maxis.com.my/en/tnc/personal-tn...xisone-tnc.html for more info.

TQ

If they never give you the normal number, then have to call the toll free number.
Some banks provide the toll free number and normal number (if call from overseas) for you to call their Helpdesk.
