Is Turkey in Asia or Europe?

well, turkey made applications to enter EU and it's pending. so i guess it's in europe since EU did not reject the application straightaway?

It's both Geographically, As the country touch both continent. But Turkey would like to consider them self as European (EU Application) as it has more advantages in terms of market.

Landmass, should be Asia since there is where their majority of land belong. Politically, depend on the country itself. Like Kazakhstan, lies in Asia but their football team play under UEFA.

Well, political border speaking, they are not in europe yet, they just a member of NATO. Geographically speaking, the are in between europe and asia. Historically speaking, they actually have europe, asia and north africa in their empire.
