wif centrino gaming won't b best but then better then those notebooks wifout dedicated gc this is bcoz centrino runs on low voltage thus can't gif max performance

Sadly,the HP zd7000 is not able to be shipped over.But hopefully Malaysia or OZ will receive the model by next month.
Today i went to Dell's website and they have started selling the Pentium 735 and 745.Price is still reasonable at RM5600 for the 5160 model.But guess i'll still wait for better options in future.Kind of interested with the Aspire 2012 too.Really cheap for the specs.

1st choice: Apple 15" Powerbook with DVD burner $2499
2nd choice: Apple 15" iBook with Combo $1999

Both are wonderful machine
(* price in USD)

3rd choice: 2nd hand ol' laptop, about P3/500MHz with baseline config - RM2500, add RM 170 for a Wifi card and you're set.

Hahaha,i was considering the G4 15"!But due to lag of software,I'm sticking to windows.I was a mac user long ago.Currently my home has an Imac flat panel and a old G4 Powerbook too:)

DELL has this warranty thing that i think is really good
some sort of cover all warranty
it fixes/replaces your laptop if something happened to it
by "something" i mean accidents...things that happen unintentionally
for example, spilling stuff onto your laptop
but if its stolen then its not covered cos thats considered an intentional act by somebody...and also then DELL will pokkai cos everybody will report their laptop is lost
haven't actually made use of this warranty yet but thats what they claim

Just got back from computer shop and saw the zv5000 and Aspire 2012.Build quality wise,Aspire is a little disappoinment.Not as good as HP's but as for specs and price,Acer won.

hmm... i would still go for more solid system like HP or dell, NEC/acer feels not as strong or as if it will break apart someday...hahah

I have to agree with you ikhii.I think Acer Ferari has the best build quality(for acer) and Aspire comes second.

ftec.. hmm not sure but don think it can compete with the big names in the industry..

ftec's design looks ok on the advertisement, but haven't seen the real thing.

my advice,go for Acer!Additional RM1k will show you a big difference!Firstly,the screen.Aspire is 15.4WXGA whereas HP is 14.1 XGA:(
Secondly,processor,Aspire is 1.5 GHZ.Then RAM.Then!VGA Card:D
Thats the big + for Aspire!HP is using intergrated.Invest more for a better machine;)
