most people say IBM is most wanted..is it true ?

ACER ASPIRE 5502 or Dell 700m..? This 2 models always in my mind now..the price within range my budget..i love the specs of ACER but exterior wise, goes to Dell 700m.

I think Toshiba is a good brand. Got an old model with PIII 600MHz, haven't failed me until now.

planning to get one this Merdeka day....RM4300.......but not sure its the best buy in its range....i mean a good laptop below 5000 with all the features and also extended warranty up to 3year(ya ya have to add rm380, i know)

hey, anyone out here study electronic / electrical engineering yr 2 degree and above?
do u guys often use softwares like C++ or autocad?

coz i'm planning to get the apple ibook g4(rm3999 now!!!)... do u guys think it's wise to get a mac since im studying engineering subjects...

and btw, i have a PC at home, thinking of getting a laptop for when im staying in hostel... i do go home during the weekends...

tetapi ur c++ sw not support on mac ler.

tat's y i asked, if not often using it, i can always do it with my home pc during the weekends... but if use it too often... then im better off getting a windows based laptop...

btw, mac does have their own programming softwares like Xcode rite? are they similiar to c++? the output format the same?

everybody seem to be talking about dells, compaq, twinhead, toshiba...how bout benq laptop?? is it good?

IBM is reliable as what being so many times posted in here..but the specs is not value for money and exterior wise look outdated already..

"Reliable" to me, depending on what sort of application, frequently used, kind of user, how good we take care of the notebook, and some others which may vary among users which is within our control..the users opinion almost refers..

But the truely "reliable" is, how does the system link and intergrated with other, which is beyond our control but depending on the manufacture to setup the best mechanisme to run the system as whole..The specialist shall have word on this..

I need specialist to give opinion on this..

not value for money? wat ur budget,ada murah juga ler.

value for money?..i give you one example la..why people choose myvi instead of savvy eventhough people knew that savvy is much cheaper almost RM10,000 as compared to myvi?..

value for money shouldnt always relates to the cheaper thingy, value for money should be based on comparison with other product in the same industry, or range of products..how much we can benefited from this product compared to that product?..thats it..

it is not lecture, just my personal opinion..
