Guys, my 1.6Premium need to top up 2x fuel for a trip from JB to KL, I suspect something is wrong, my speed was constant 120-130 only, I don't think this car is a camel but anyone face high FC with their car?

for example my Iriz usually go around 300km+ for RM50 (60% city driving). that's around 12km/l (if calculate with fuel RM2.10 per litre) which is good enough for me

The new model does not have 1.6 Exec, only 1.6 Premium.

I also notice that front passenger windows moving up very slow compare to other windows.

this problem has 1 easy solution where u will facepalm when u know what is the problem. iriz dont have cabin air filter. so u need to put 1. its behind the glove box

Hi, is it a recent problem or since day 1?

Everyday to work at one point I had to drive passing by those garbage collection bins so recently I also notice the outside smell start seeping into cabin even though air circulation always on. That was never happen before couple years back so I think it simply not because the absence of cabin filter.

My guess is those 'door' that open/close inside air duct eventually not properly seated on rubber seal then leaving a small gap to let outside air come in. The cause maybe due to hot weather/parking outside either the seal got harden or the door got slightly deformed or it just slipping over time.

Anyway I will complain this to sc on next visit.

Regarding the cabin filter I don't think putting it in is good idea. You know la even there is few dust layer inside that mesh already restrict the air flow much that the blower at speed no.1 barely feel any breeze. Imagine put another filter no.2 blower speed noise already tick me off.

That being said, unless that filter is activated-carbon type then the smell will still be there, as only dust was filtered.

So better if put small deodorizer then then ok la as long as not blocking too much.

I do not know how to open the glove box to check the air filter.

I dont dare to go test drive, previously test drove persona, the sales call me even after half year period.

My concern is whether any good fc improvement with 1.3 model.
