The Suprima head unit costs RM8708.44 from Proton...
Current Iriz is not that far off...
The new 2017 Iriz? Probably the same..

Mind you that, these units are integrated into the canbus..

Definitely not wire tap.. different connectors used by blaupunkt.. cause the canbus integration.. if u manage to find one on ebay can make adapter harness..

Integration does not come cheap.. its customised, so even more expensive.. try look around for branded headunits like sony or even blaupunkt ones.. thats have, wifi, bluetooth, gps, and navi software integrated.. and reverse cam too.. decent ones costs around 2k i think.. and most probably without gps and navi apps..

Add one more.. ahaha..
Honestly, in Malaysia, rear fogs is quite useless.. maybe for fending off tailgaters laa...

In the highlands maybe useful.. keningau, ranau, cameron, genting.. other than that.. there is hardly any fog..

in Malaysia, most think fog light = spotlight. In heavy rain is understandable but using it in clear night thinking your road can be brighter is vmad.gif

on the other functional side, why there is need of "another-third-brake-light-size" rear fog light ? Is "both-and-bigger" tail lights not bright enough? sweat.gif

If you've seen those idiots running with rear foglights on at night, you will notice the foglights are much brighter than the tail lamps. It is quite glaring and annoying.

its the same brightness as when brake lights are on..

so can be confusing to other road users

THIS.

I've seen some honda jazz wired their rear fog to stop light. It's actually better that way, otherwise made me wondering were they did brake or not doh.gif

a brake light has two brightness mode.. in heavy dense fog, the low brightness mode is useless.. believe me.. u cant see it past 30meters.. a rear fog lamp has a concentrated beam pattern.. much like a spot light.. making it visible through the fog..

for front lighting, the Iriz has good lights.. better than my Suprima.. a simple bulb upgrade would net u about 50% more light..

i did it to my wife's Iriz.. its still halogen, but so much brighter..
