what item was that?

because last time at cose, my switch brake was acting crazy but it was okay when the time i get there. They check through obd and everything was fine so they didnt replace it  vmad.gif
*
Oh. it was power window motor. Actually, I had it removed at SC. at that time, spart part need to be order. so my window cannot move at all. I followed up every week SC said not yet arrived. After 1 month, sparepart arrived, but also broken one. He said need to wait another few weeks.

I got fedup and realized my 10k service is approaching. The next day, I called COSE to book service and told them about the power window issue. They said it is ready stock there. So next week I went to COSE, did my 10k service, and also replace the part.

Regarding the switch brake, mine also acted crazy. Book a slot with COSE, ask them to check and repair. They did, and no problem after that.

My advice, record video when your switch is acting crazy. I did, because i afraid they will not fix it if the switch is fine during the visit. So you will have prove.

guys, i wanna ask. yesterday i go and survey tires price. so i stumble upon a shop which only sell 3 brands; continental, dunlop and viking. due to curiosity, i ask the owner why only these 3 brand? he said continental bought dunlop and come out with viking in the same time. so its like 3 tier product which own by 1 parent company which is continental. the owner added that dunlop and viking share the same tech and quality almost the same.

so, is it true? anyone have knowledge and info regarding this?

edit: i found an info which is yes, viking are from continental https://www.autofreaks.com/sticky-stuff/vik...brand-malaysia/. anyone used before? is the quality more or less same with continental?

yup. just finish and found out regarding the quality on this forum https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3064023/all. but overall still better than our stock tire biggrin.gif.

summary: (price vs quality)
- performance quite good in both wet and dry
- cornering good
- noise some said acceptable some said poor. not sure how is it compare to our stock
- price affordable

conclusion: u get what u pay for. not saying its not ok, its good but not great. if someone on budget, proly this might be a good choice.

price: around 140 - 150 for 15". (means that the shop i went yesterday damn expensive coz he quote me rm169 per tire sweat.gif

PT5 isn't as good in wet... Car will slide around if road is wet especially after heavy rain...

Dunlop Formula D05 would be better since both are similarly priced (*based on last year Feb RM120 price @ Klang)...

Hay guys, long time no talk tongue.gif

Been busy with work, and happy with my car.

But I'm just wondering, what phone holder do you guys use in the car?

I've been struggling to find a good one that doesn't fall off the mirror..

Yeah, i don't really like having something on the window when i'm driving.. A little distracting. I'll probably give the cd mount holder a go.

I stuck the freebie one i got with YES when bought the car, and so far it didn't fall today.

That I'm not sure.. My SA didn't mention it to me. I most likely think it will cancel itself, considering we did not hand any payment thing to YES. But proton could send our payment details to yes.. I do use it on a weekly basis, not daily, but probably will call at the end of the year to see.
