QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Mar 12 2017, 09:59 AM) Lelong? I cannot find it. Can you give me the link? Mine is the 500gb hdd, but i plan to upgrade till Yosemite. My plan is to upgrade the ram first, then buy snow leopard os and upgrade from there. So hdd is really that slow? it's still running Leopard? difference between HDD and SSD is night and day bro.. you won't even feel like it's a 2008 laptop anymore anyway is this the late 2008 unibody or the early 2008 non-unibody model? if it's the unibody model, it can support up to 8gb (2x4gb) RAM. |

Quite easy to DIY. You can follow the instructions here: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/MacBook+Pro+15...Replacement/670
i think any SSD will work. 256gb is about RM 400 http://www.lazada.com.my/sandisk-ssd-plus-...ve-9855196.html |
