As for your case, maybe you should pay another visit to other SC for 2nd opinion since the SC you went dont even know how to monitor your ECU through their notebook.

Well, my jazz has 2 sensors at the exhaust manifold. One placed before and another one after the catalytic converter. I changed my extractor twice and de-cat. Honda SC will have their software in their laptop to be plugged to your ECU onboard thru a serial port under your dahsboard at the driver side. Well, the software showed DTE errors when analysing my eCU after i changed my exhaust system. But after erased it and reset and recalibrate my ECU. It's fine again. Reason is that the sensor being detached before for my case. The mechanic at my SC even ask me to drive around with him on the laptop monitoring my ECU to check everything is okay before reset and recalibrate my ECU. Same thing i rebored my throttle body and screwed up my TP sensor. That Honda SC is at Ampang. They give best service compare to any other SC.
