I got year 1996 and year 2003 USD100 note. Can change in Taiwan or not ? Or can I goto local money changer to exchange for newer note ?

Hello everyone, juz came back frm Taiwan.
Cool weather rite now ~10-15c
I manage to visit most interesting place in Taipei, Yehliu, Jiufen, Keelung, Danshui, Beitou, Hualien, Taroko (visited there a day b4 a lady died get hit by fallen rock ). My wife enjoyed shopping..cheap lady handbag and shoes..shopping paradise for ladies. Love the CityInn II hotel..juz behind the Taipei Main Station..very convenient. Taiwanese quite friendly oso. Definately a recommended place to visit

I stayed in CityInn 2 last month. It's located behind Taipei Main Station, about 5min walk.
Opposite got KFC, McDonald and 7 Eleven. The room is quite new, staff very friendly, got free internet, MAC computer at the lobby.

I think Wufenpu is too large. Wholesale market suitable for those who like to buy in big bulk. You can reach there by taking train to Songshan Station, juz 1 station frm Taipei Main Station. Exit the station > On your right is Raohe Night Market > On your left is Wufenpu

Songshan train station is one station from Taipei station. Nearly every train go thru tat station so no need to worry bout slow train.

They did accept RM but the rate is very very low compare to Msia.
As per advice on the first page, CHANGE to USD in Msia and then CHANGE USD to NT, u definately wil earn more.
One thing to make sure is the USD note u change shud be year 2005 onward note ELSE u will be charge additional fees.

You can reach there by taking train to Chungli then transfer to Hsinchu Bus (directly across the road from Chungli Railway Station) to go directly to Window on China

Well I follow the first route but unfortunately the timetable does not fit the bus schedule so I take taxi frm the ChungLi station to there ~ NT500. Chungli a nice shopping town too, ask the taxi driver to bring u to eat the famous beef noodles in town, u won't regret it NT90/bowl

1. 14K shud be sufficient for 4 person. This provided u dont spend it on expensive branded goods.
2. I went there on late January tis year, weather is cool, normal jacket + scarf is gud enuf.
3. The place you listed in at Taipei & Tainan area. I spend 6 days at Taipei and surrounding area, manage to visit most famous place, except Sun Moon Lake (canot day trip) and Yang Ming shan (not interested).
4. Foods is everywhr in Taiwan but if u wan the famous 1, u need to go to many different places. Most ppl stay at Ximending area or Taipei Main Station area (easy to get transport everywhr).
5. Nothin, just relax and enjoy. EAT AS MUCH AS U CAN !!

Last time I stayed at City Inn II behind Taipei Main Station, NT1690/day.

For train, you can always booked online 1 week b4 your trip. The booking will expired afters 3 days but it's ok. You stil can show your expired booking no at the counter and they will issue you a new ticket. But no guarantee u can get a seat, the worse case, u get to stand for 3 hours before reaching Hualien

I tried hotspring at Spring City Resort, Beitou. Private room cost NT600/pax. Prefer the outdoor 1 at the other resort but the time i reached there heavy rain so cancel plan. If u dont mind, u can try public hotspring, very cheap.
