Can you explain in noob terms what this does to cryptos? Does it mean affected miners can't process the blockchain leading to backlog?

What would be the impact on cryptos?  hmm.gif

Wow! 175K BTC unconfirmed transactions https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

Anybody using poloniex lending bot? Looks more efficient than we trade ourself.
*
Me, been using for past 3 days...

it's great cool2.gif

the demand for BTC loan is good, then LTC and XRP.

Nobody want to loan XMR sad.gif

Been using autoloan... lol

You can try loan out even 5%.. try to give competitive rate.. most people lending between 0.0100- 0.50%

well, i give only 0.0699 and 0.0799 icon_rolleyes.gif

im talking about autobot lending in polo via api keys..not those u manually key in and lend
*
ya.. u got see the autoloan?

u just set the interest you want to loan, and amount of btc you want to loan out...

so, everytime the loan has already completed, autobot will help loan out to other again...

oppps... sorry, tongue.gif

mistaken..u refer to this?

https://www.poloniexlendingbot.com/

havent try yet

Why not?
I was thinking about the same thing, sell altcoins at a high now and get BTC on the cheap.
When the dust settles on BTC, it will probably be a sea of red again for altcoins. Discount mega sale time!
Or maybe wait till next Monday and see how is the situation first.

altocoins still buffer on strong level... didn't drop a lot like btc..

Current situation btc freefall, altocoin tank at comfortable level... bruce.gif

my ETH still look strong although drop 1%-3% this few days

Wait. Now this sounds a bit scary. ETH too?

I do understand the issue about BTC, which I have also viewed my "disapproval", that it is anonymous, unregulated and untraceable ownership which freely allows for money laundering and illegal activities. Governments allowing unregulated bitcoin use means they openly also allow all the disadvantages that comes with it.

However, I thought ETH was more of a "platform" rather than a currency. Well, I guess it could still be a currency but isn't it more "regulated". For ETH, wouldn't it be as easy as saying "Ok, sure, we can regulate ETH use" and move on? Or does it suffer the issues like bitcoin.

If I were to look at the top 3 market cap coins now (BTC, ETH, XRP), the one that doesn't suffer from this is XRP!  unsure.gif

only XRP in green, BTC and ETH all in RED

Do you guys think it is really that bad...?
I'm still somewhat cautiously skeptical......I can probably live with a 15% plunge, as I still think the overall trend is upwards.
To be honest, if ETH drops by more than 15%, I'll probably load up more.
Yes, if you buy order price is higher than the lower sell order, the lowest sell order will be fulfilled first, then moving up to the next lowest, etc.
Means your actual buy price could be lower than your placed order price.

i dont think ETH will drop below 15%... the price balance between 80-90 now...

but yeah, if it drop below 75, pumped in more!!! cool2.gif

previously i thought my margin always lose money even i locked in profit..

So this is what happen,

If i trade in LTC/BTC, XRP/BTC or XMR/BTC,
The profit is actually calculate in BTC, so, my coin in LTC/XRP/XMR become lesser, but somehow after the change to BTC as my margin profit, i get more BTC coins!

just now trade LTC/BTC

LTC/BTC Buy Margin Trade 0.01649833 6.00000000 0.01500000 LTC (0.25%) 0.09898998 BTC 2017-05-14 03:00:47
LTC/BTC Sell Margin Trade 0.01663700 6.00000000 0.00024956 BTC (0.25%) 0.09957245 BTC 2017-05-14 02:45:34

so, i placed margin sell at 0.01663700 and release/buy at 0.01649833. I place on margin 6 LTC/BTC unit, which then, after the lending fee and 0.25%,

i manage to gain about 0.0005800 BTC... almost 1 dollar lol

but ok la, since i trade so small bruce.gif

Guys,

If you cash out your bitcoin and happened to earn double digit millions (which is possible if you bought your btc much earlier in big amount) ,

how do the declaration of income works ?

And would it be taxed ?
*
why would it be tax?

u bought when it was $0.0008 ? or $0.08? or $1?

i envy those who invest just USD1K back in between 2010 - 2011 laugh.gif
