blame those that r abusing 7kg per 2 bags prior to this. like holysheet. if u r the last in line to board the airplane, most likely u wont have any more space to put ur cabin bag n have to squeeze it underneath the seats.

u have to check in the excess luggage after payment is made.

i think they should enforce 7kg+7kg rule instead. total cannot exceed 14kg maximum 2 bags. that would have been better.

they r trying to solve the issue of passengers hogging the cabin space with 3-5 big china bags, but to limit total to 7kg is too extreme la IMO. some camera equipments can already exceed that 7kg limit easily.
