So many people already use Windows Vista that is illegal copy. I read in the comment feedback and they say they've been using it for 2 months over without any problem, all can Windows Update and all got Ultimate Extras. Thats why I said nothing is "uncrackable". LoL...

if they able to crack the acitvation .. how abt the windows update ?

Cause my understanding on Windows Genuine Advantage(WGA) will able to diffrentiate whehter the windows is a genuine or pirated . once they detected as a pirated version . it will remove all the extra feacture in Vista and will remove the Crack file as well.

dude, you outdated lo.. tongue.gif

just my 2 cents, Microsoft doesn't care about pirates from the financial point of view. More or less this is a GOOD or BAD news for M$ ... BAD NEWS because loss of profit...security headaches...credibility of the OS...etc... GOOD NEWS because Windows Vista will yet again be widely used because of its popularity...people will get used to Windows...love it or hate it. ANY NEWS is always GOOD NEWS! It doesnt matter if Windows Vista got pirated....more or less....people will still use other M$ products to go with it.. If peaople cannot pirate windows, then they just move on to Linux/Unix and as they say "life goes on" pretty much without change.
*
Agree!!! i think their first priority is geuine windows , folo by pirated . then only linux/unix ..

As long aas u stay in windos one day , they wont afradi you going to move out ..

There are some leaked Volume keys that are not blacklisted by Microsoft though.
You are simply lucky.

Love the funky midis they play in their 'programs' biggrin.gif

And by security I think Bill Gates was referring to those viruses and trojans. They actually don't mind the software getting cracked as long as they maintain market share.

they sure get share one..then how come bill gates is so rich... hmm.gif

Because Microsoft not only sell OS's, they also sells software? And the fact that he got rich not because of XP or Vista, but Win 95 and 98 during the times that piracy is not rampant.

If you using any Appl or Crack they already changet hte registry key in advance without the need of you future tunning

Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) introduced by Microsoft can be so easily nullified by Paradox. I wonder if Microsoft is serious about wanting to protect their operating system software in the first place.

the more tighter the hold on its windows.. the more people will switch to other alternative OS

why..

i'm a genuine windows users, and those activation really give me hassles, i've updated to matrix storage manager and windows prompt me to reactive, when i reactive online it says product key has been used, need to call MS..

it does not effect pirate users at all, its onli affecting genuine user which pays alot for it

From what i have heard, M$ will remove WGA soon. Many legit customers are annoyed been labelled as "pirates" when their copies are genuine wink.gif
