QUOTE(butthead76 @ Dec 4 2021, 11:34 AM) Just came back change my 2 tyres to J6. Weird part, tyre shop check tie rod and rack end. He felt rack end a bit worn only. Then after tyres done, the clok clok noise gone. Now I am really puzzled. possible is weight changing direction = noise goneCould the noise be tyre not properly bolted in when workshop fitted the lower arm? Anyway going to test few days before I decide to buy rack end. Already bought tie rod. |

QUOTE(butthead76 @ Mar 24 2022, 07:57 AM) Front ko, not absorbing. KL roads real ko, potholes everywhere. Almost every 2 weeks I report several holes around my area. Wife 2nd gen avanza ori shocks also ko in 20k km. So no choice but to use normal Excel G Kayaba as got no RS ultra. pam less air into tyre. help absorb a bit |

QUOTE(shyan90's @ Aug 1 2023, 09:43 PM) own preferences for manual. 1.3M is better choice. u got ori clutch pedal no need to drill hole.I now either buy 2013 Avanza 1.3 manual then perform engine swap to 1.5... Or newer year avanza auto and convert manual. Or last buy more easier choice... Toyota Rush.. and replace gear console there. rush is 1.5A and 5 nut axle. also need to mix match sikit instead of direct swap |

But biggest issue for 1.3M is power is so so only according my friend.. [/quote] rush 1.5M well that would be best choice shyan90's liked this post

install e46 rear spring by myself.
mininal tools required and spend less than two hour if got hydraulic jack even faster length spec is same, just rotation diammeter is larger so spring rate is soft than ori actually |

QUOTE(virulence @ Mar 6 2024, 04:17 PM) Hi everyone, I just bought a used 2013 Avanza. When I'm driving at slow speed around 30 km/h, I hear noise from the rear left & sounds like a stick hitting a tong but no noise when I drive at higher speed. Is the drive shaft worn? Any help or info is appreciated. Thanks. shaft noise get louder as u speed up.my big suspect is exzos (left or right?) |
