I went to supermarket and saw many type of fried chicken powder to fry your chicken. Which one you tasted that is good ? as good as or better taste than KFC and not too expensive.

I think like none,
If want crispy like kfc Mix 1 egg in bowl of water. Coat the chicken with flour mixture then dip in the bowl of water for 1 sec then take out and put back to flour mixture for coat again. Max 3 time coating If want old spicy flavour that goes inside chicken piece. Learn to brine/marinate spicy solution and put at bottom fridge for 12 hour. |

The batter contains equal parts cornstarch and flour to ensure a crisp crust; The batter also contains baking powder for a crust that’s light without a trace of doughiness; The batter relies on black pepper, paprika, and cayenne for a “simple but unambiguous flavor” (just be forewarned, the amount of black pepper is intentionally heavy-handed); The batter contains no dairy. They replaced the milk in the batter with plain old water. The logic behind this? “When wet batter hits hot oil, the moisture in the batter vaporizes, leaving behind the solids that adhere to the chicken. With milk, the sugars in the milk solids browned too fast and produced a soft crust.” I've tried above recipe.. On another note, simple "any market powder" with used of egg dipped meat makes the best crunch look. Edit: to get kfc look, kindly blend gardenia bread in food processor and use it for last layer batter. IT.WORK. This post has been edited by fotosintesis: Mar 7 2017, 08:02 PM |
