Happy April Fools everyone!

Let me fool everyone with a chart that I think has "potential" in the upcoming days, weeks and potentially months. Let us discuss one of my siggy shares, Parkson (and so, the pump and dump activity can continue and people like me can profit! Great plan right? icon_idea.gif Just kidding, April Fools again).

Sure everyone know that this company is a loss-making firm (well who would not thought about it). In the last few years, 5 years or so, it has been on a long term downtrend which if we zoom out of the chart, there is no full stop on this company. Every few or so month, the company's shares will get dragged down for the obvious reasons, their huge mistake in investing into China.

Let us look at the recent financial figures and we can see Parkson is profiting once again, albeit so far, up 10 million, down from 31 million of net profits during the same quarter. The net tangible assets as of now stands at RM2.38. But hey, this is a trading topic right? So why the whole talk about fundamentals in here? Bring us to the technical aspect part.

So remember that I have said it was down for about 5 years? If one were to argue, "But where got all downtrend? There was at least a stable phase on the one month chart in 2014." But if we were to zoom out to the weekly chart, short term wise, it has been proven a downtrend lagger and it has been nearly 90% since 2011. Embarrassing!

However, recently the chart has been stabilised since the start of the year and maintained consistency in 2017. Word abuzz come from privatisation, sale of their retail assets, blah, blah. This is not important. What is important is that, there is recently few upside down dragonfly Doris known as the "gravestone doji" appearing in the Parkson graph. Gravestone dojis usually appear when a bullrun has overran its course. But the weird case is that, it has showing up on the daily chart near the lowest point. Does this mean a bull is picking up again?

But anyway, this is just a prank. icon_rolleyes.gif I am seriously wasting my time talking non-sense. Oh well, who will ever about it and of course, if anyone believes my analysis, look forward to my siggy first before buying or considering. Let us consider this an educational information for everyone. icon_idea.gif

Have a nice weekend ahead. Apologies for having me to take the pic as Investing.com is not really friendly in sharing links...

Dude....

it's OK to talk trading based on fundamentals. I even put it there on the first page long ago.

Ok. Parkson.

It's not just just China.
I feel the management has continued to make bad decisions after bad decisions.
Anchor tenant at Maju mall?
No wonder they are losing so many millions on that store.

Latest?
Anchor tenant at Mytown Mall?
And just a few hundred meteres, anchor tenant at Sunway Velocity?
I just don't see Parkson can do well making such corporate decisions.
You been to these 2 new mega big malls?
*
Nope. Never been to MyTown nor Velocity. As for Sunway Velocity, I have been getting from people bad criticism about the place, hence, the reason why it is not doing well. And with less crowd, no surprise it will not do well. Malaysia's retail segment is barely floating!

Now, this one is really strange. Open two outlets nearly side by side. Really red flag indeed. In the years before this, they should have open one at Mid Valley or something. doh.gif

Yes, I cannot more than not agree that the management has a lot of problems now. But there was this company who is bleeding money, do not know which direction to undertake, also like Parkson, being too ambitious with launching too many products, now which company is that? hmm.gif Anyway, it is a GLC company but Parkson is not and so I cannot digress too much about this.

But talking on technical terms, I do maybe see a rebound in this stock, maybe around till the 70c level. Definitely not IWCITY, AIRASIA style of rebounding. But speaking of better confirmations of an increase, if one is not comfortable with Parkson. Let me pull out some magic and if I can that I got this from KLSE Technical Analysis (all credits goes to him), there is always.....Benalec.....

Niceeeeee.

I have looked into your graph closely with djhenry's and I think from your both of the graphs if interpreted correctly, I can say this graph is going consolidated mode soon. However, looking at the weekly timeframe, an uptrend looks imminent anytime after the consolidation give it around 1 to 3 months for the stock to go upwards. nod.gif

P.S. This cup looks very horrible as I just got a drawing pad and am not used to it. Hopefully this helps.

Ok no problem.

Maybe ILoveLalat.net can comment. Or any other sifus?

Apologies for the late reply, BDB is currently or should I say undergoing correction now. Fundamentally sound, it should be valued at least 90 to RM1 at minimum. Monitor for an entry you think you can handle and set some loss points in the event things go wrong.

Probably you might see some hints but for now I may not be planning to enter for the time being. Nevertheless, it is a fundamentally strong counter, it's underrated and still do not know why players are still avoiding the stock given the strong points unlike shares like Sumatec, PDZ, etc.

Hi again, apologies as I was so busy preparing for something important. Anyway, so Parkson is a lost cause or is it? Terrible, it did not move up as I thought it will as it is a proxy for Lion Industries which I said the other day.

So anyway, let us avoid anymore loss making, useless, hopeless companies and start new again and which is why I brought PWORTH up.

Now this stock may yet again end up a failure like Parkson or this time it will be "ini kalilah"? I brought the attention here because there may be a bullish flag spotted on the graph. Let us see where is that...

So what is everyone's take on this stock? Personally, in my honest opinion, I still think there is further upside. It may be overpriced but it quite held up well recently.

So about PARKSON, finally some action is coming. Luckily called it when it was around 63 to 64 sen, now 67 sen. Hopefully can break the 70 sen psychological barrier. biggrin.gif

ILoveLalat.net may i ask why Supermax is in your banned list?

Yeah, I owned it at 2.03, before so called cutting losses at 1.91. But want to know the best part, right after I sold off, it went straight to 2.13! Definitely will forever be in my ban list.
