QUOTE(advocado @ Mar 3 2017, 09:52 PM) i think those normal office chairs office use last longer right? i mean some don't work properly but you don't really see oil leaking. Just change the hydralaic part. quite standard. Don't know price exactly but I guess rm100.repair so expensive? do they sell replacement because replace whole chair abit waste since it's still in good order and comfy. |

QUOTE(advocado @ Mar 3 2017, 09:43 PM) do they have some sort of policy regarding failed hydraulics? I have no idea. Try contact IKEA to see if you can work out a compensation under product defect. Then you have a win-win.i just checked, the pole has brown oil. but the leak on floor is more like black ink. |

QUOTE(StarScream01 @ Mar 3 2017, 10:30 PM) I have no idea. Try contact IKEA to see if you can work out a compensation under product defect. Then you have a win-win. i open up the rear zip to see if i still have the receipt but i don't have the receipt only left the manual. when i take out the manual i notice one of the horizontal heater coil like spring support fell out 1 side.tried half an hour to try to slip it back but that side that came off won't hold. can see it's rubber coated metal, and that rubber coat on that end already destroyed left the metal, and that rubber was important to hold the metal in it's slot. it was quite dangerous as you need to stretch the coil so it reach the hold, if the other end got lose it'd be a fully stretched spring. in the end no choice have to remove the other end. now missing 1 support spring... this chair not the cheapest ikea office chair, but tak tahan macam. |

QUOTE(advocado @ Mar 4 2017, 09:55 AM) Website is all in set. But when u collect at the rack; all boxes are sold seperately. Same as bigger items such as bed, sofa and cupboard. All are combination of multiple boxes which are price seperately. This post has been edited by chamelion: Mar 4 2017, 02:01 PM |
