Eh guys, blood test painful ah. Got any good place to do statutory body check the needle cucuk won't pain one?
*
I once had a friend who went for blood donation. The nurse forget to un-pump the check blood pressure thing before removing the needle...godddd...the gore... brows.gif

jokes aside, I went for the body check(X-ray + blood check) at a clinic at Woodlands MRT station last month.
The service & result was quick, but one of the staff attitude was..well..below par as a nurse.

Suggest to find a clinic that is willing to send a soft copy of the Medical Form so that you do not have to go there twice.

Hi guys, I'm a bit worried now.

Fyi, I got a job offer in singapore, submitted all the necessary documents to the employer HR on wed last week. Supposed that they submit for the employment pass application on the next day which is on thu.

Its been 4 working days since the application (assumed that the HR submitted on thu). I emailed them (HR) asking whether they (HR) have actually submitted the application but no respond. I'm not going to email them again becuz i dont want to sound pushy or anything. Ive read somewhere here that we can check the application status online once we got the number or something. Correct?

P/s: I've checked the SAT before and it showed that I'm qualify for both EPass and SP.

relax..the application usually takes 1~2week to complete. thumbup.gif
that doesn't include if the HR is waiting for multiple applicants to submit together.

Any ws or fb group out there for those travelling in/out of kastam ciq everyday or weekend?.

Last Friday night the CIQ queue pour out until the taxi stand at the KTM terminal side.
End up turning back to Marsiling for dinner first.
Tried again at 10pm, and everything went smooth ( as in typical Friday night smooth). Not sure what happen though.

Would be great if there's a place to check the status INSIDE of the CIQ in real time.

Taking photos anywhere in CIQ is NOT allowed. I saw officers confiscate mobile phones and instruct to delete the phones. Let off with stern warning.

Yeap agree...was thinking more of a communication group.
Like those giving estimate time they passed passport check, bus waiting time etc..

Keep getting error when trying to use my citibank and dbs card.

*already tried calling ptptn hotline, their advise is to go counter and "try" instead.

I have 5000myr working in malaysia but i have an offer 3.5 sgd from same company transfer. I am somewhat a fresh grad with around a year experience.

Do you guys think 3.5 sgd is a appropriate starting salary for my position(IT) ?

Do you guys thinks its worth the transfer?

Still considering if i should take up the offer or not.

Life in malaysia is comfortable while living with parents not much expenses but in Singapore i have to start paying for rent around 1000 and food and transport as well as other expenses.

Employment pass : Min salary $4500 (Will increase to $5000 starting in Sep'22, and again in 2023)
S pass : Min salary $2500 (Will increase to $3000 starting in Sep'22, and again in 2023)

Depending on how you view this, it'll be getting harder to get the employment in SG moving forward, but guaranteed higher min salary if you manage to get it.
I would say better to go for it now than later.
Since it's internal transfer, you should try to nego more since your employer seems keen to bring you into SG.

Hi all, I got job offer in SG 2 months ago and my EP is approved. As I am required to go for medical checkup, can I go for medical checkup on that day I reporting to work (14/11/22)? HR insisted me to go for medical checkup and wait for report out then can start work. I dont want to have the hassle to come to SG and go back to KL as my rental starting date is 12/11/22 and my joining date is 14/11/22.

Please advise

Medical checkup result typically takes around 3days before the clinic shares the report.
Better check your company HR if they are okay with your arrangement.

FYI, there are cases IPA got retracted due to failing health check, so your HR would still insist on getting the result first.
