Any fresh graduate with no work experience get EP approval this yr? Do we need work exp to get ep ?

Your chances are absolutely zero. Get some relevant working experience for a few years before applying.

Why? Malaysia Blue IC + 2.5k up salary + degree = almost guaranteed EP. Why must get experience?

A handful of my colleagues here including myself got in fresh with above criteria.

He's saying EP eh... Not PR.

If PR then you're right.
*
The current EP threshold is SGD 3,300 per month. How many fresh graduate jobs are available to foreigners with that starting pay? Probably zilch. And what's so great about Malaysian IC?

Threshold 3300 but still can get in as long as you got the degree as a Malaysian.

What's so great? You holding Malaysian IC?

It's obvious there's a lot of preference for Malaysian compared to other countries like Philippines Indonesia Myanmar Bangladesh, India, PRC & even Taiwan. Whether on EP/SP or PR.

The reason behind? I don't know. Need to ask the governments. biggrin.gif

What do u mean get a degree as a Malaysian? What about the quality of the degree ? How would you compare to an NuS or SMU graduate ? The preference of Singapore employers is to hire fresh graduates frm Singapore (PR or citizen) before considering foreigners.

I won't go as far as saying zilch chance to get more than 3300 for freshie. There is still a very small chance but you need

1. Contacts
2. Good results from Top Uni
3. Apply to the right industry

I started working in 2010 with 3000 starting salary. Malaysian citizen, non pr, degree in chemical engineering. in 2017, 3300 is definitely doable.
*
Possibly but one would be competing against the cream of the crop from the Singapore universities as well as top foreigners for the desirable jobs.

The right industry is an important factor.

How about in 2023? About to graduate this year with a Business and Finance degree in Malaysia, and looking to land a job in Singapore.
*
I would say your chances is about zero to land a corporate job unless you have a strong lubang to get you into a company

How to leverage the richness

Find your own way to be rich and not ask random strangers in an online forum like LYN

Not asking how to get rich

I consider myself reasonably rich in, nearly T20, but no lady knows about it

Can’t be filthy rich only can date. Liddat very few get to reproduce, has the new world order come? where only few high achiever reproduce with many women while the rest of us eat shit and have our gene discarded from the gene pool

Asking this question from anoymous strangers in an online forum - ask yourself if you will receive proper answers.

But my question was simpler than how to get rich

How to leverage richness meant how do I make use of being rich to attract ladies, otherwise the wealth just sitting around

And do you expect to receive meaningful answers here?

There's no harshness whatsoever.

Just don't expect LYN to be an aunt agony advisory column. We are here to TCSS and not play pop counsellor roles.

Having more money / earning power will indeed provide better success in the dating scene, but not the way you think

Also this is the first time I've seen someone earn in Singapore, convert it to MYR, then benchmark against the Malaysia national average to convince himself he's Top 20

I have been working and residing in Singapore since 2007 and never once did it even cross my mind to compare my income versus what Malaysians are earning in Malaysia.

The current generation of Singapore girls (and some boys) are wannabe influencers and instagram hogs hence the lust for material wealth has never been greater.

Wanna date them?

Be prepared to shower them with your moolah cool2.gif

No chance here, Most of us downgrade to b40 (or whatever term they use) when benchmarked against Singaporeans, we only lie to ourselves back home

How to show tho? Cannot be straight away telling them you have money

Are you rich? If not, don't bother
