Hi all,

Is it really so hard to look for an accounting job in SG these days? I've been on a job hunt for more than 2 months already, sent out more than a hundred applications and the replies I got are barely less than 5.

hello sifus,

Recently i got an offer to work in singapore.

1) What is usual process to rent a house (possibly a whole unit of HDB) and sharing with friend? Do i need to obtain the EP first?

2) What's the usual practice for utilities (water, electricity and internet)? It is usually inclusive in rental or pay separately? Is the rate/tariff higher than Msia?

3) Any tips in looking for suitable HDB? My office location is around Telok Ayer MRT station (downtown line) and relocating soon to Marina area (red line).

Hi,

In my case it take exactly 7 working days for my EP to approved. Maybe due to i'm working for SG government agencies which could result my EP approved faster.

Hi all,

I would like to ask if do I need to disclose all my working experiences to the HR, they are currently applying the EP for me

Previously I got a job experience in SG but it's only for 3 months therefore I did not include the working experience in my CV. But now my concern is that do I need to disclose all my working experiences in order for the EP to be approved by the MOM.

Hi all,

I would like to ask how do I log in to IRAS without SINGPASS?

I have left my last job few months back and my SINGPASS has already been deactivated, I rmb last time it's possible to log in to the IRAS using the IRAS pin but it seems like there's no such option now.

Anyone has any idea?
