QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Jun 5 2017, 03:16 PM) My previous interview offered 80% pay raise while I put in expected salary of 100% raise. Company policy cannot pay so big difference from previous salary but they need people that time so offered the 80% raise. Ding dong ding dong then took another better offer. |

QUOTE(jojolicia @ Aug 15 2017, 12:33 PM) yes & no ans to that. no prob on MY & will part. If the properties come with criteria that its reserved for Malaysia citizen, you have to sell it off. For example, bumi lot and land under special circumstances.just SG part, its a matter u want to go by or/ off the book la Similar to SG landed properties and HDB, none PR can inherit, but have to sell it off within a period by gahmen. The money still goes to you. |

QUOTE(13etrayer @ Sep 14 2017, 12:56 PM) Just some information sharing after i went through PR form submission this morning. They accepted my BEM cert. Not sure why don't accept yours. But I wonder if there is any help or not for that cert.1. Certificate in Malay Rumors say that certificate in Malay will not posses any problem since Singaporean know Malay as well. My Diploma and Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) membership cert are in Malay and the Malay officer asked do i have cert of both in english version. Of course i dont have since rumors say that Malay translation is not needed. But she choose to reject my BEM membership and said that only accept cert in english. Luckily she didnt reject my Diploma cert, i guess that education cert in Malay is acceptable but others must be in english. Just hope that the absence of BEM membership has tiny effect in my PR application. 2. For those who is married and registered in Malaysia, the marriage cert number should be fill in based on the alphanumeric at top right corner, instead of numbers at middle left. Sekian. |

QUOTE(funkyme @ Dec 1 2017, 01:04 AM) hi al, Another thing is should treat the partnership income as a foreign income and lump it together into SG income declaration? SG tax = annual SG salary + MY foreign income, and MY tax = 0.anyone got experience being a partnership holder in Malaysia. but working in Singapore. How we should pay the tax ? malaysia unable to follow the resident tax rate as we are not there for 183 days ? How to define the day in the 183 days? Spent entire 24 hours in a day in MY? 8 hours? Or see where the person is at midnight? Those that travel in and out everyday JB-SG is tax resident for both countries? |

If yes, I think I will go translate. Please recommend me where to go translate in Singapore . Thanks The ICA officer accepted my BEM cert without translation when I applied PR for my wife. Just put it in as extra point. Not sure if it help or not. Even my PEB one also not sure how much weightage that have in the application. If don't help or don't recognise, they won't deduct points for wasting paper photocopying from your application right? |

QUOTE(TryingToSurvive @ Sep 15 2019, 12:05 PM) I would be staying in sg nearby the work place to save on the hassle of crossing the boarder. One item that is rarely spoken About online is the transition back to malaysia after years in singapore. Anyone has any feedback/experience for malaysians returning to malaysia to work after xx number of years? I went back after spending around 12 years in SG. Transition is ok. Have to adjust to the changes for a while but will be on track quite fast. SG branding is good so job search is smooth but pay for sure is a lot less compare to SG, still can survive after adjusting. Get a lot of questions on why come back. |
