hey guys i will be working in serangoon, anyone know where i should stay? should i stay near the workplace and whats the max commute time u recommend? theres no mrt in walking distance from the office

Hi guys, i just got my IPA. Suprisingly it only took 3 days. I want to ask, do i need a residential address before HR can apply for EP issuance? does that mean I must sign a tenancy agreement beforehand? I am thinking of booking a hotel for a few days for vieweing, do people usually do that?
