No la singapore is very nice. Old ppl work because they want to. There are alot of facilities that are well maintainrd and you can get alot of pretty singapore OL as your friends here.

Can I check with you, me & my wife both of us are PR, can my wife give birth in Singapore? If can, my child would he/she be automaticly grant Singapore PR or can he/she apply for Singapore citizenship? The child will be issued birth certificate here & what is the next procedure?

yes you can give birth here
no your kid cannot apply for citizenship (singapore is not a jus soli country)
your kid doesn't get automatic PR either, you have to decide whether you want to apply for him/her

anyway after you give birth, you apply for a singapore birth certificate for your kid. then u take that and apply for malaysian birth certificate at high comm. then with that yih apply malaysian passport.

total gross compensation is closer to 150-170k for first years, so yeah def not impossible to pay back 500k ringgit in 2-3 years.

These days there are too many foreigners in SG. Cheaper yes, faster and better I doubt. Sometimes these folks just cut corners and create other mess for cleanup later. In another way, to generate work to sustain...

Well if u wanna live the cafe every weekend, live in a nice 2 or 3 bedroom condo in a central area, and have a nice car to drive kind of life, i suppose 8k is minimum lo. But median pay in singapore is 4k (including cpf), so she gotta belong to the top 25% or 20% to make that kind of money, and so the question is, does she possess the chops to get there.

What do u mean get a degree as a Malaysian? What about the quality of the degree ? How would you compare to an NuS or SMU graduate ?  The preference of Singapore employers is to hire fresh graduates frm Singapore (PR or citizen) before considering foreigners.

i save more money here compare than I did working in KL

the disposal income here is high

welcome to singapore, it is very safe here, u might even extend ur stay here too bcuz of the disposal income plus the quality of life u can get whilst sacrificing bigger housing to hdb which for my case is acceptable

i know a senior who once work in KL before but now settle back to singapore. he say KL is expensive

he is able to lead a better quality of life in singapore here

Fresh grads median pay in SG starts from $3,300, and I hesitated for a bit because of this.

I believe i might have developed this sense of superiority thinking I am better than the rest, as my pay is MUCH higher than the average fresh grad pay in Malaysia. throughout my graduate program I was treated as the 'elites' who will transform the company, which further stroke my ego. getting offered a lower rate than the average fresh grad salary is a deal to my ego, when I thought i deserve better.

It is not easy to adjust my thinking, but I am willing to be humble, accept that I am not a special snowflake in a competitive SG environment, and start over again in a foreign country.

Caused I did not booked 2 ways due to some promotion. When I about to booked for the return trip which I keep delayed, it has already been fully booked. So I decided to take a coach instead. 1k+ month?! U mean most of them are blue collars workers? I'm sure some of them are professional as well..if I'm them I would rather work in Malaysia if it is just 1k
