Anyone noticed that the phone speaker produced some sort of ' cracking' sound when the S-Force surround is turned on during music playback ? Is that normal ?
I can also feel the phone's body 'vibration' when the speaker is producing sound ...

After using this phone for a week, my thoughts:

Pros:
1. excellent built quality. i love how it looks and feels in the palm of my hands. Glass panel front and back attract fingerprints but i dont mind. it is not really that slippery.
2. Great battery life...my SOT is around 5.5 - 6 hours.
3. the 960 fps slow mo are awesome, but the thing is how frequent do we use it in real life? i havnt tested the camera in low light yet. but i wont put too much hope on it.
4. the fingerprint scanner at the right side below the volume rocker are really perfectly placed. super quick. it is the second one i feel impressed after using op3 fingerprint scanner. but honestly i prefer sony fingerprint scanner than others.

Cons:
1. the stereo speakers are very soft. even my old xperia z3 plus speakers are louder. of coz not as great as the loudness of my op3. when plug in original sony earphone also soft (no surprise at all)
2. when playing games u can notice some frame drops. not obvious but coming from op3 i can notice the difference.
3. 4k hdr display is awesome but i wonder when will i trully use it? so far i only use this phone for 4k youtube videos viewing which is not really that frequent.

to be continue...

I agreed with you . The sound quality ia just so-so . Even with the headphone plugged in, the sound output on my xperiaz is better than it . It lacks the headohine selection in the xperia z . When I used my Xperiaz , I chose sth-30 all the tine no matter whixh headphone I plugged in . The sound output is amazing ...

The slow mo camera only works welk in well-lit condition . When its under low light condition, you can notice a lot of noise in the video .

I only noticed the cracking sound when s-force is turned on , when dseehx . clearaudio are turned on , no issue at all .
Sorry , it's not cracking sound actually , it's some sort of hissing sound , not the static hissing sound indeed .

the slow mo video is 960 fps which mean which mean hardware need at least open the shutter at 1/960s for each frame.. with that size of sensor 1/2.3", u cant demand much from that.. even DSLR or proper equipment tools also need good lighting to produce great output.. no one can overcome this cause it's fact.. dont expect high usability of it..

haha..

definitely it can happened.. just depend how is their roadmap for mobile plan..

a lot of aspects have to take consideration in every business decision. If i launched every part of my bests to market, how is my successor?! LOL..

besides, few aspects is key area, processing power (Chipset), storage, memory, camera, and others..
with existing trend, 32gb, 64gb and 128gb (flagship) in 2H2017.. 960fps slow mo will took up a lot of storage.. it isnt consumer ready to use the feature?! it isnt consumer are enough educated to use the feature?! a lot of data analysis needed..

it is not easy like a lot of people asking for 8gb ram, 256gb storage, and give me infinity display with 4k display.. when business deliver it, people complaint about high price.. people will not satisfied anyways. business is not going to fulfill these people only.. but business is targeting for overall based on their research & study..

OPPO may be one of the sample.. great product & low cost.. how much profitable?! Apple is great product with low cost but very profitable.. They've brand value.. business need profit to sustain..

it depend on chipset processing power.. i dont think existing S835 able handling it.. engineer will consider every aspects needed, performance, safety policy, impacts..

with current pace, i believe another 1.5 year to see ultra slow mo 960fps in 1080p ba.. that time probably chipset manufacturer under 10nm.. but still not really realistic.. probably another 2 to 3 years.. haha.. my guess only..

haha . I dont think so . Even with s820 , the xperia xzs can handle the slow-mo video quite well . I think it depends more on the camera lens actually . The sony's move to included dram into the imx400 is the key to achieve 960fps video . I think sony's just lazy to include the feature of recording the slo-mo video in fullhd in their phones now .
