Owned this phone since June 2017(first batch), so far I faced these issues and it is damn annoying.

1. Wifi signal lost connection suddenly, I never face this issue when I'm using Z5P, and I tried to put side by side with my Z5P, only my XZP keep on lost WIFI signal.
2. Touchscreen problem, sometime when I slide Facebook, it will automatic long press the screen even I'm not long pressing and it will accidentally open a post or liked people's post.
3. Charging problem, my phone charging keep on stopped and need to manually pull out and plug back the cable. (I'm using original Sony charger & Type-C cable that come with the box.)

Anyone have solution for above?? please help I'm getting mad of these issues...

Yes.. yes... exactly what u mention.. just happend in FB.. I thought it was the hardware problems... hahaha

my camera button not workinhg, only can boot camera apps but couldnt take photo.

after install android pie notice some stutter and apps crash. did a factory reset and everything is working fine now. Butter smooth and added features such as 1080 960 fps. Other pie feature is the volume control has doubled steps. Sony disabled google gesture btw.

yes of course it wipes ur data and apps. if u have unifi then you can do it fast. i have to download all my song from spotify premium again to my internal storage which is around 10gb. spotify also one of the apps that will pause suddenly in the middle of playing song after update to pie and i got fed up and reset whole thing.

you can gain back same storage because although u upgrade from android nougat to oreo to pie, ur previous history still there, just like what window update does. so if you format ur phone you get back those storage. i already move my chat and contact to gmail, whatsapp backup to cloud and i dont use wechat. photos and videos all saved in my microsd 256gb samsung evo

so basically i use around 4 hours to setup my phone including dl apps that i had previously, linking gmail accs, google acc and so on. you can backup it to sony backup system as well which it will be backed up into micro sd or cloud.

When u get the update notification? I can't get mine to update.. hmmm...

Last time i went sony centre 2 weeks ago also no more handphone display set there. 😭

Just got my XZP updated to pie. Found that some issue with the camera. When taking photo. The taken photo wont show at the bottom right corner to preview. When check back in gallary also no. It only appear after u refresh or exit all apps. Winder why? Any other issue u guys faced after updated to pie?

Hi guys, anyone having issues with banking app?
I have been using this phone for 2 years where banking apps are not usable due to it detected my phone has been rooted although I have not root this phone since I got it.
That's fine. But after yesterday security update, boost app cannot be use.

So, any solution to this?
I have try reinstall the app, factory reset, and etc but still the same.
Last resort will be system repair thru companion.
