Hi all, I want to know anyone here have flash / upgrade their SE phone's firmware through Wotan server? Mind to guide me how to do it? Afaik it needs paypal fund in euro currency right?

flash as in a total re-flash of the phone's software?

if you're planning to upgrade it's firmware then why not use SEUS? it's much safer and it's free..

Ya I know but mine is on the stupid maxis firmware and unable to update through SEUS, thats why I want to get rid of the maxis firmware and use the original firmware by SE instead...

i think there's none user of malaysia using wotan but you can try ask ppl in esato forum instead of here... yours se w900i right?

Ya I'm using W900i. I dont think so, coz last time I read that some forumer here actually did flash their phone thru wotan server... i might be wrong tho...

too bad i'm not in kl, if not it will be easy for me as i can find those that provide se firmware flashing...

someone in w850i thread did use wotan server before.

and yes you need paypal to pay the. it is not that cheap either. it not that hard to flash via wotan server, make sure you do revision before that though, and if possible get all the right files and cda keys so that your phone can be updated via seus next time.

hmmm my difficulty now is getting paypal funds in euro currency coz so far I only see ppl selling paypal funds in Us currency... dunno if its possible to use US currency to pay for things in euro currency... paypal newbie here

i got paypal you can use other currency to pay in euro. it will do the conversion.

but flashing via wotan server not that cheap either. why not get it done in shop which could be cheaper, but then you would lose the chance of setting for it to work on seus next time.

oh, can pay for euro curency using us currency? cause i saw in my paypal account that the funds are classified into different currencies so I thought us fund are payable only to us currency

i thought sc can do it for you, as fulat last time said if you insist to decustomise maxis set and dont mind it void the original warranty.

Hmmm but I'm in penang and I don't know if any shop are providing flashing services... maybe need to wait till when I go KL only find those reputable firmware flashers from lyn to flash my hp...

since the warranty for my w900i will end soon, maybe I'll ask them to flash mine after the warranty finish. just hope they can do it for me...

Hi All I have problem with my K770i some times the phone will auto restart.. and the sms that i send wont go out instate the sms will keep in draft I plan to reflash the os any advice how can i do this? Thanks in advance.

wotan server is not free of charge..

anyway to upgrade/flashing the firmware is easy..just need to learn from the internet[search it]..
