Hello to all car sifu's.
3 days ago I brought my car to workshop to change FRONT rotor and brake pads, since my rotor warped for a long time.
So the rotor I changed was Brembo's Blank Rotor (Without Slotted, Drilled, Just Blank), and the Pad was Brembo also.
I even ask them to flush brake fluid and change a new one (DOT4).
After change, the brake was noticeable softer and spongy.
Maybe its new pad need time to bedding or the other brake system parts have problem?
Anyone faced this problem before? or brembo pads really NOOBS?
Car: Proton Persona (2011) (Front and Back also Disc)
Do proper bedding in first and then see after that if it feels firmer. I myself never used brembo discs & pads before so not sure how they should be and this also varies from car to car and the types of pads. Just hope they are original brembo and not fake ones though. If still feels soft then try another round of bleeding, but if still not improving then probably just the pads not good. Then can try replacing the brake hose with stainless steel braided ones.3 days ago I brought my car to workshop to change FRONT rotor and brake pads, since my rotor warped for a long time.
