Thank you for the reply. Since this will be my first rig, I'll be planning to use it for the next 4-5 years so I don't think I will be upgrading the CPU any more.  Can I use the 3600 with a non max mobo ? The AsRock B450 Pro4 perhaps ? Just looking for things that I can cut some budget off to make it under 5K sweat.gif Here's the updated parts list

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 - 855
AsRock B450 Pro 4 - 328
T-FORCE Delta RGB 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz  - 390
Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 512gb - 325
Seagate Baracuda 1TB - 169
Zotac RTX 2060 AMP 6GB DDR6 - 1475
Tecware Nexus EVO - 185
Superflower Leadex II 80+ Gold 650W Full Modular - 400
Acer Nitro VG240YP/AOC 24G2U - 700/800
Tecware Phantom TKL RGB Mechanical - 170

*I know the PSU might be a bit overkill, at first I planned to take the FSP Hydro GE 550w, but then I realized the Super Flower is only RM 50 more, and it was rated highly by Kit Guru Tech and the Linus forums. So I thought it was worth the extra RM 50

Total - RM 4997

Any recommendations or comments on my intended parts list ? Thank you in advanced

You're gonna need a CPU that's compatible with the b450 boards to download the BIOS update that makes it work with Zen 2 chips like R5 3600, if you're gonna buy a non MAX board.
You could ask the store to flash the BIOS for you, they might charge a fee.

How attached are you to that keyboard?

Would you be willing to settle with something like a MK345 and use the price difference to get either of the following
Coolermaster Hyper 212 turbo red CPU cooler
Mobo that supports your CPU out of the box
Seagate barracuda 2TB
VX2758-C-MHD monitor that is 27" and has 144hz

Sifu. Does AMD makes itx size gpu beside low end gpu?

I take it that you either want to build an all AMD system or that you want a card with great price to performance ratio.

AMD ITX cards are limited. The most recent and powerful model is the Powercolor RX5700 ITX but it is a Japan exclusive. It is 175mm*110mm*40mm.

You can order it here:

https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B082W236T1/ref=...4656156&sr=8-13

https://www.powercolor.com/product?id=1581404657#spe

The other ITX AMD cards you can find are the RX570/580, and these are available locally although they might be low in stock because they're from more than a couple years ago.

Also, not all ITX cards and cases are the same. You might want to mention your ITX case or even better yet, the dimensions for GPU in your case.

210mm(+/- 1mm) limit but prefer around 180mm.
p/s: just window shopping.

That 5700 ITX fits your requirement.

Have you thought of a case? 180mm seems restrictive, not many cases need a card that small.

Are you thinking of getting a K39?

Here's what I did with mine.

I got a Galax RTX 2070 mini
Dimensions(without Bracket): 175*111*38mm

Hi guys. would like to get some insight from sifu here.

Here is my current spec:
CPU - Intel Core i7 870 @ 2.93GHz Lynnfield 45nm Technology
MOBO - ASUSTeK Computer INC. P7P55 LX (LGA1156)
RAM - 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 669MHz
GPU - NVIDIA Standard VGA Graphics Adapter (my GTX 460 just died)
Power Supply - Cooler Master 550w

This cpu was built roughly in 2010. My usage mainly playing Csgo & offline game such as Hitman, Farcry & etc. I have budget approximately around RM2k. here is my question:

1. Is this my CPU's spec still relevant?
2. Should i upgrade from current spec or sell off and built another rigs?

Thanks in advance and any advice are most welcome.
*
It is an obsolete CPU and rig, I do not think you'll be able to sell it off for anything more than RM350.
Building a new Zen 2 rig would be the best thing you can do.

But if you have constraints on money, you can still use it for gaming with some upgrades.
I have a build like yours (i7-880) that I paired with last year's RX5700XT and a new PSU to play current games like Hitman 2016/2018 (ultra/80fps), DMC5 (ultra/140 fps), Borderlands 3 (ultra/120 fps).
You could still use yours to continue playing eSPORT and offline games but you need to buy a new GPU and preferably PSU and RAM (at least 8GB, I have 16GB).

Hi everyone.

Need guidance here.

If I want to get a gaming rig, is it a good option if I get from them?
https://idealtech.com.my/hall-of-fame-2/

Or do I just copy their parts and buy them myself?

Budget around RM5-6k, hoping can last for few years.

Thanks in advance.

It would be cheaper for you to put the PC together.

This shop and many others like it are selling after market service where they troubleshoot any issues and help either warranty claims you might have. Its this service that you are actually paying for. If you like how that sounds, then you can go with that particular store you linked. There are other stores that might be cheaper commensurating with the service they offer.

I have experience building a PC there.

I thought it was alright, since I knew what parts I wanted.

I suppose this applies for a lot of things though.

Would this be about the same in value when comparing to the Focus G?
