Hi guys, going back to this topic... we agree to buy a new gaming pc for my son. Thanks for sharing Wuthering Wave game spec, but of course we are not buying a new pc just so he can play this game. Can I therefore get some suggestions for a decent gaming pc spec, that is currently in the mid range budget, say around RM3000-4000, that would be still usable 2-3 years down the road, and can play other first shooter games in 2025 or near future.
I ask because some say, for example, GPU that is RTX --30, or --50 is not worth buying. Must go for --70, --80, --90. I have no clue, that is why I am asking. Something like
4090 is better than
5030 (not worth although is 5000 series, but is the budget version)
Thank you all in advance.
Bad time to buy PC. You want future proofing some more... RAM and SSD prices skyrocketing due to shortage. I would advise to buy immediately if you can find old prices. If you can buy parts separately and build your own, you can save some money.
If you really need to buy now, try
Core i5-14400F - 529
MSI B760M-A Pro Wifi DDR4 - 599
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4-3600 kit - 279
Asus RX 9060 XT 16GB Dual (avoid 8GB) - 1476 (Shopee, on sale price. May not last long)
WD SN850X 1TB - 439 (KC3000 now more expensive...)
FSP Vita GD 850W - 399
Cooler Master Masterbox Lite 600 case - 259
RM3980 total (Viewnet prices unless stated -
