GPU
galax 1070 ti exoc snpr = rm1990
zotac 1080 mini = rm2250
(tbh, far a cassual gamer this is kind of overkill? maybe a 1060 6gb would be fine)
I am not a heavy gamer but I would like to play high end AAA games (and hopefully high res and FPS) such as PUBG which is not optimized.
I am planning to get a wide screen and higher than 1080p monitor (still deciding).
Would GTX 1060 be enough? Or should I go for GTX 1070/1080?

Yeah but Mini cards are not recommended due to just enough cooling. 6k can get you these
Intel is slightly better for gaming but the motherboard support is stale. AMD still supports AM4 till at least 2020
If you really want intel, switch to these
Core i5-8500 - 785
Gigabyte B360M-D3H - 369
Vega is overpriced for the performance it provides. Price levels
GTX 1070 TI/GTX 1080 > Vega 56
GTX 1080 Ti > Vega 64
So if I want better cooler, I should avoid Mini cards?Intel is slightly better for gaming but the motherboard support is stale. AMD still supports AM4 till at least 2020

Motherboard support for Intel is stale... you mean to say I will not be able to upgrade much in the future, since it will change soon?
GTX 1080 > Vega etc.... in terms of performance or pricing?
