Yeah Id agree with you if you are a noob in Dota it just means that you do not know how to shop in dota map does not mean you cant own in WAr3 or Starcraft.i always tell them, if you are noob in DOTA doesn't mean you will never improve...
But Im glad that people these days are moving away from Dota if what you say is correct, they should play more skilled games like DoW, Supreme Commander, CoH, FPS and RTS games and not some PvPV RPG map.
