At first, I believe that SC should solve all my rattling problem given its 100k++ price. Yes they successfully fixed my ultrasonic sensor casing rattling problem which was giving me headache (literally) due to metallic rattling sound at high pitch. However for other rattling sources, i have started to diy by using sponge as long i don't dismantle the plastic cover. All i did was to insert sponge into those A pillar plastic gaps for dampening. It worked for me and a few others in this forum. Also under the dashboard cover right side near the steering column, there is a wire which brushes the plaster panel causing rattling. so i inserted a piece of sponge in between the wire and panel which solved the rattling. Those that i can solve diy without going to the service centre i will solve. But those rattling from my driver door armrest panel i cannot solve which I will lodge a complaint in my next service interval visit. And i hate making frequent visit to service centres.

I even inserted sponge under the third brake light casing which has reduced rattling noise. In short, i m curious whether toyota altis or mazda 3 or nissan sylphy has the same rattling problem.

Mine is problem 3 also after 2nd or 3rd week. I was so sad initially but starting to accept it too. I will lodge a complaint on my10k km service.

I agree with you. As what I understand from the Honda civic 1.8 service schedule, i have to send the car for servicing every 6 months or 10,000 km whichever comes first. I will maximise the use of my car for 5 years during this warranty period (5-year warranty with unlimited mileage) and move on.....

My horn cover is giving the rattling sound too. I am just counting down to the 60th month. After warranty period, bye bye honda

Mine too. My car only clocked 7000km. Will complain to sc at 10k servicing. The plastic clip inside the panel may be spoiled.

I hope to try if just tighten the screw. My door panel panel rattling problem really give me migraine.

Started car this morning and the right wing mirror folder towards the hood. The left mirror folded normally towards the door. All this happened without pressing the folding button. What a crap civic. Then i pressed the button and the wing mirror turned back to normal position.

Try check the ultrasonic sensor plastic casing next to the map light.
